Our team is growing, and we’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst based in Malta.
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Malta. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing clear, actionable insights into the company's financial performance. This role will report directly to the Financial controller and collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders across departments.
THE PERFECT TEAM MEMBER IS INSPIRED TO:
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across business units.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly performance analysis, identifying key drivers of variances between actuals and budget/forecast.
- Review cost allocations made and ensure that the correct cost classifications were utilised.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and tools to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Partner with business units to provide financial insights that drive performance improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Prepare and present management reports, KPIs, and business performance packs for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis related to business cases, investments, and operational initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting automation.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or ACCA/CIMA qualification is a plus).
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, preferably within the gaming, tech, or digital entertainment sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Dynamics365 is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
