Amusnet Interactive will present its extensive portfolio at The Scandinavian Gaming Show

Rositsa Panayotova, Commercial Manager at Amusnet Interactive granted an interview to Gamblorium about the upcoming 4th Annual Edition of The Scandinavian Gaming Show

Question 1: Hi Rositsa, thank you for meeting us to answer a few questions! Your business journey has taken you very far already! Where did your interest in gambling begin?

It all began with my passion for sports and adventure. The industry has always been appealing to me, and when I started my professional journey in 2015, betting and gambling were just about to break into the online world. Back then, I applied for a position in a customer support department, and luckily – I got the job. That’s how it all began – I took on a new challenge in a constantly evolving industry. I had the chance to work for leading international and local companies, where I gained comprehensive knowledge about the industry and significant experience in sales, business development, and account management. What I truly love about the iGaming industry is the fact that there is always something new to learn, not because you missed reading the news yesterday or you didn’t put much effort into understanding how it works, it’s because that new thing was developed just a few minutes ago. So keep learning.

Question 2: Amusnet Interactive, former EGT Interactive, what has changed since you completed the rebranding?

Amusnet Interactive follows a more centralized and unified approach in our business development strategy. By refreshing our corporate brand identity, we stepped further into the process of enriching the well-known classic EGT Interactive portfolio with modern product verticals. As a result, we are able to communicate better the diversification of the portfolio when entering a new market. The new name encompasses all products of the portfolio within a single brand. We continue to provide the emblematic EGT Interactive slots and upgrade with new verticals such as the state-of-the-art Live Casino platform, Keno, and Lottо.

Question 3: Is there anything you look forward to during the next few months regarding business?

I guess it’s no surprise that I’m excited about the 4th Annual Edition of The Scandinavian Gaming Show. The show is a great opportunity to gain insight from thought leaders and potential business partners across the industry. It is crucial to keep up with industry trends, legal and regulatory matters and to know where player experience is heading in the specific region you are taking care of.

Question 4: What kind of games does the Swedish player like? Is there anything intriguing in your portfolio that you haven’t presented to the Swedish audience?

Sports betting is currently the most popular gambling vertical in Sweden besides the lottery, with 20 percent of the country wagering on sports at least once a year. With the changes to the country’s gambling laws still relatively fresh, we expect the online casino market to continue growing, with slots already proving to be the most popular casino game among current players.

As I know, the opportunities to visit a physical casino in Sweden are limited. Therefore, the live casino might be another major gambling trend, although it may take time for players to become more familiar with table games such as roulette and blackjack. Amusnet Interactive developed a Live Casino from scratch, now powered by cutting-edge streaming technology and a state-of-the-art studio to provide an unprecedented live gaming feeling. All our live casino games are preferred worldwide due to their ultra-low latency HD stream, luxurious atmosphere, unique wheels, and table designs, additional Jackpot Cards bonus game, and modern interface. Hopefully, we will have the chance to present our Live casino offerings to the Swedish players in the near future.

Question 5: What are the trends in the Swedish gambling market and what are your thoughts on the gambling license?

Sweden’s open online gambling market may only be young, but it already offers several reputable international gaming sites that are well worth signing up for. No doubt, it is a heavily regulated market, evolving nonetheless. According to the latest data from the Swedish Gambling Authority, the gambling market enjoys steady growth.

A state-run monopoly provided Sweden’s online gambling options for decades. After the European Union challenged this for being anti-competitive, Sweden introduced new legislation to broaden the market and allow both local and foreign operators to apply for licenses. The first of these operators launched in Sweden in 2019, and since then, locals have had access to some of the world’s biggest and best online casino operators. These safe, fair, and reliable sites offer games such as slots, roulette, blackjack, video poker, and live dealer casinos for those looking for a more immersive online casino experience.

With a per capita gambling spend that is among the highest in the world, the Scandinavian region also offers profitable potential for online gaming and other gaming verticals. Several developments across the Nordic nations have taken place in the last few months, positioning the region as a focal point for the gaming industry.

Question 6: Which Swedish-licensed online casinos offer your games? Could you please list some of them? Are you planning to collaborate with any other Swedish brands?

Our portfolio is available on Paf, Prank Casino, Speedy Spel, Video Slots, Mr. Vegas, and we are always open to discussing new business opportunities. So, meet me at the Scandinavian Gaming Show, which will take place on 2-3 November in Copenhagen, and let me get you a hands-on experience of discovering our slots and Live Casino products on multiple devices and tell you more about Amusnet Interactive.
